Hugo – Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Hugo, operated by Parasition AB (Sweden).
 By creating an account or using Hugo, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the service.1. Who We Are

2. Using Hugo
To use Hugo, you must:

• be at least 18 years old

• provide accurate account information

• use Hugo only for lawful purposes

• comply with these Terms and all applicable laws

You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
 If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose security risks.

3. Your Content
You may upload or enter content into Hugo, including:

• brand data, catalogs, product information

• marketing materials

• campaign briefs, notes, and internal documents

You retain all rights to your content.
By using Hugo, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to deliver the service, including generating insights, recommendations, strategies, and AI outputs.
 We do not claim ownership of your data.
 We do not use customer data to train general models without explicit consent.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload or use any content you provide.

4. Prohibited Use
You may not use Hugo to:

• break the law or violate intellectual property rights

• upload harmful, abusive, or malicious content

• attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the service

• generate or distribute harmful or misleading content

• access or scrape Hugo without authorization

We reserve the right to take action, including suspension, for misuse.

5. AI Outputs & Limitations
Hugo uses AI models to generate insights, recommendations, and creative ideas.
You understand and agree that:

• AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or require human review

• You are responsible for how you use all outputs

• Hugo does not guarantee results, accuracy, or performance

• Marketing decisions remain your responsibility

We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on AI-generated content.

6. Intellectual Property
The Hugo platform, including software, design, branding, algorithms, and documentation, is the property of Parasition AB.
You may not:

• copy, distribute, or modify Hugo

• build competing products using our systems

• use Hugo trademarks without permission

These Terms do not transfer any ownership of Hugo to you.

7. Plans, Billing & Cancellations
Hugo offers free and paid plans.
For paid plans:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance

• Taxes may apply

• You can cancel any time, and your plan will remain active until the end of the billing period

• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law

We may update pricing or plans with reasonable notice.

8. Service Availability
We aim to provide a reliable, high-performance service, but Hugo may be unavailable at times due to:

• maintenance

• updates

• outages from cloud providers

• events outside our control

We are not liable for downtime or interruptions, though we will always work to minimize them.

9. Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy:

By using Hugo, you agree to that policy as part of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Services
Hugo integrates with trusted third parties, including AI providers and infrastructure services.
You agree that:

• third parties may process limited data as needed to provide the service

• we are not responsible for issues caused by external services outside our control

We choose partners that meet strong security and privacy standards.

11. Termination
You may stop using Hugo at any time.
We may suspend or terminate your access if:

• you violate these Terms

• your account poses security risks

• required by law or regulation

Upon termination, we aim to delete your workspace content within 30–60 days, except where retention is legally required.

12. Disclaimer
Hugo is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee:

• that Hugo will be error-free

• that AI outputs will be accurate

• that marketing results will improve

• uninterrupted access to the service

Use Hugo at your own risk.

13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law:

• Parasition AB is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages

• Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months

• We are not responsible for losses from use of AI outputs or third-party integrations

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it cannot be excluded by law.

14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Hugo evolves.
When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date and notify users where appropriate.
By continuing to use Hugo after changes take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
